PreschoolTerms operates Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM. Early drop-off begins at 6:45 AM — no surcharge for the first arrival of the day. Late pickup (after 6:00 PM) incurs a $1.50/minute fee billed to the account on file. Enrollment is confirmed upon: • Completion of all registration forms • Receipt of the first month's tuition and a one-time $75 enrollment fee • Submission of current immunization records • Signed copy of this Terms of Service agreement Part-time slots (minimum 3 days/week) are available subject to classroom capacity. Enrollment does not guarantee a specific teacher assignment. The center reserves the right to adjust classroom groupings based on developmental needs.

Children must be fever-free (below 100.4°F / 38°C) for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication before returning. Additional exclusion criteria include: • Vomiting or diarrhea within the previous 24 hours • Undiagnosed rash • Conjunctivitis (pink eye) — until treated and discharge-free for 24 hours • Strep throat — until 24 hours after antibiotic treatment begins • Head lice — until first treatment completed and nit-free Staff will notify parents immediately if a child develops symptoms during the day. Children must be picked up within 60 minutes of notification. PreschoolTerms follows all DCFS and local health department guidelines. Parents will receive a written illness notification for any reportable condition in the classroom.

PreschoolTerms maintains strict pickup authorization protocols: • Only individuals listed on the Authorized Pickup form may collect a child • Government-issued photo ID is required at every pickup, regardless of familiarity with staff • Temporary authorization changes must be submitted in writing (email or app message) before 3:00 PM on the day of pickup • In custody situations, PreschoolTerms requires a copy of the court order on file. Without documentation, both parents listed on enrollment are treated as equally authorized • If an unauthorized person attempts pickup, staff will contact the emergency contact immediately and, if necessary, law enforcement • PreschoolTerms staff will never release a child to an individual who appears impaired, regardless of authorization status

Tuition Schedule: • Full-time (5 days): $1,450/month for infants; $1,275/month for toddlers; $1,150/month for preschool • Part-time (3 days): $975/month for infants; $875/month for toddlers; $775/month for preschool Payment Terms: • Tuition is due on the 1st of each month • A $25 late fee applies if payment is not received by the 5th • Accounts 15+ days past due may result in temporary enrollment suspension • PreschoolTerms accepts ACH bank transfer (preferred), credit/debit card (+2.9% processing fee), and approved subsidy programs including CCAP, DHS Child Care Assistance, and employer-sponsored dependent care FSA Additional Fees: • Enrollment fee: $75 (one-time, non-refundable) • Late pickup: $1.50/minute after 6:00 PM • Returned payment: $35 • Annual supply fee: $85 (billed in September) Tuition is not prorated for absences, holidays, or illness days. The center observes 10 standard holidays annually (calendar provided at enrollment).

Withdrawal Notice: • 30 calendar days written notice is required to withdraw a child from enrollment • Notice must be submitted via email to enrollment@preschoolterms.com or through the parent portal • Tuition for the 30-day notice period is due and non-refundable, regardless of attendance • The $75 enrollment fee is non-refundable under all circumstances Refunds: • Pre-paid tuition beyond the 30-day notice period will be refunded within 14 business days • Supply fees are non-refundable once the program year has begun Relocation Exception: Families relocating more than 30 miles from the center may request a waiver of the 30-day notice requirement. One grace exception per family, subject to director approval, with documentation of relocation. Involuntary Disenrollment: PreschoolTerms reserves the right to disenroll a child with 10 days notice for: non-payment, repeated late pickup, behavior that poses a safety risk to other children, or misrepresentation on enrollment documents. In cases of immediate safety risk, disenrollment may be immediate.

Yes — 6:45 AM sharp, every Monday through Friday, including the week before major holidays. We understand that shift handoffs don't wait for a convenient school schedule. Staff arrive at 6:30 AM to prep; the first family can hand off a backpack at 6:45 AM without knocking.

If a confirmed enrollment falls through due to circumstances outside your control (hospital transfer, job change, relocation), contact the director within 5 business days. We maintain a priority re-enrollment list and will make every effort to hold or recover your spot. The enrollment fee is non-refundable, but we will waive it on re-enrollment.

Yes. We are an approved provider for the Illinois CCAP program, DHS Child Care Assistance, and most employer-sponsored dependent care FSA accounts. Bring your eligibility letter to your tour and we'll walk through the paperwork together. Subsidy families pay the difference between their approved benefit and our published rate.

Full-day tuition includes: all meals and snacks (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack — all prepared on-site), curriculum materials, daily photo updates via the parent app, weekly progress notes, and access to our parent portal. Diapers and formula are parent-supplied. The annual $85 supply fee covers art materials, sensory supplies, and field trip costs for the program year.

Yes — submit the request in writing (email or parent app message) before 3:00 PM on the day of pickup. Include the person's full name, relationship to the child, and a physical description or photo if possible. Staff will still require government-issued photo ID at pickup. For recurring temporary pickups (e.g., grandparent on Wednesdays), we recommend adding them to your permanent authorization list.

Our educators send at least one photo per child per day through the parent app, typically during circle time or outdoor play (between 9:30 – 11:00 AM). If your child is having a hard morning, you'll receive a photo specifically showing them settled and engaged — we know that's the one that actually helps you focus at work.
